LFG Technologies was founded on the cornerstone of "service through
technology" to the landfill gas industry. Landfills that produce
landfill gas, and energy markets that use landfill gas, are two very
different worlds. We add value to our clients because of our proven
experience and expertise in both worlds. Our combined experience
provides a resume of over fifty (50) landfill gas projects producing over
150 Megawatts of power and consuming in the billions of cubic feet of
landfill gas daily.
Our engineers and professionals
work with clients during every step of the development, design,
construction and operations and maintenance of the custom designed
landfill gas energy systems. No other company in the industry offers the
skills and experience to get it done right; the first time and every
time. |

VP and Senior Process and Electrical Engineer,
Chuck E. Anderson, P.E., More than any other person, Chuck
has been instrumental in shaping the Landfill Gas industry as the former
Manager of Waste Management's Gas Recovery Group, through the late 80's
and early 90's, when Waste's project development was at it's peak.
Awarded "Life Time Achievement Honor" from SWANA's Landfill Gas Division.
As an employee of Waste Management, Chuck was responsible for providing
financial and technical oversight for Bio-Energy Partners, the joint
venture between Waste Management and Caterpillar Financial Services that
provided much of the industry's understanding of the IRS Section 29
Production Tax Credits. Chuck graduated from Notre Dame with an electrical engineering degree in
1980 and completed his MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology in
1992. Besides presenting papers, publications and speaking at
industry meetings, Chuck provides the cornerstone of LFG Tech's high
technology integration with high voltage switchgear, transformers,
generators and compressors. Areas of expertise include but not
limited to electrical power generation facility design, startup, and
instrumentation.
Director of Sales, Bob Ferguson, Bob has been
in the compressor business for over 25 years and has sold just about
every type of compressor package imaginable. Graduated from the
University of Pittsburgh. Largest project was a dehydration unit
that dried over 1.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Worked providing compressors to the landfill gas industry since 1987.
President and Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mike Markham, P.E., Mike graduated from Ohio State with a mechanical engineering degree
and
has spent most of his professional career doing electrical power
generation facility design, operations & maintenance, power plant
startup & commissioning, along with SCADA system design. In
addition, Mike "took over" for Chuck
managing Waste Management's gas recovery program through Rust
Engineering that eventually was sold to EarthTech.
General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, Barry W. Rogers,
Has more than 20 years in the
power industry, and more than 18 years in the solid waste
industry. As a Senior Project Manager for Waste Management was
responsible for developing landfill gas energy projects in the Northeast
Region. Responsibilities included reviewing new technologies that
use landfill gas for commercial development, financial analysis,
contract negotiations, selection of project teams and vendors, including
project management. Has installed more than 15 Megawatts of
landfill gas projects. Barry brings those same skills to managing
LFG Technologies on a day-to-day basis. Barry graduated from the
University of Houston with a BS and MBA.
